A black owned watch company? You know what? Hell yeah!
I was in the market to up my watch game and wanted to explore black owned options. I had heard of Talley & Twine but never took a deep dive into their portfolio until recently. They have a nice collection, but I have some faves. Check them out below.
Different Animal

I’m a sucker for animal print and this one is right up my alley. The watch face features a collage of zebra, leopard, tiger, snakeskin, and peacock prints, skin, and leather. It is anchored by a black silicone band but custom options are available. The perfect finishing touch to an otherwise casual ensemble.
Mahogany Rose

I was looking for a more neutral watch and Talley & Twine’s Mahogany Rose watch made me pause. It is so pretty to me. I love the face of muted roses and the chocolate band really sets it off. A gold watch band option is also available.
Seven Sisters

As a STEM girlie by formal education, I was drawn to the galactic motif on the face of this watch. Inspired by the Pleiades star cluster which is a symbol of unity, beauty, and timeless allure, Seven Sisters aims to blend classic design and celestial inspiration.
Stained Glass

This yet-to-be released Stained Glass watch is a tribute to resilience, heritage, and artistry. It is meant to be a symbol of strength, beauty, and storytelling through light.
Juneteenth

This watch is self explanatory. Juneteenth, also called Freedom Day,l or Emancipation Day, is the celebration of the enslaved people learning of their freedom in Galveston, Texas on June 19, 1865.
