Southern Diva Magazine is a U.S. based, modern, digital lifestyle mag that explores southern culture, beauty, fashion, tech, and health and wellness through the lens of the Black and multicultural experience.
Founded by Joslyn Richards, a self-proclaimed contemporary southern belle. She currently lives in Chicagoland, but the South will always be home. It was when she moved out of the South that she realized how mis and under represented Black and non-Black POC Southerners and their cultures are in mass media. Southern culture is largely portrayed as monolithic, and not as inclusive and diverse as many Southerners know it to be. Southern Diva Magazine aims to change that.
