Last year, I wrote an article raving about Crystal Rock deodorant. Here is an excerpt from the article:

“While using it, my lymph nodes did not swell and get irritated.  I can vouch for the claims that it is fragrance-free, non-sticky, and non-staining. It does last a long time, my rock has gotten smaller, but is holding strong. I would recommend this product (and have) if you are looking for a natural, non-irritating deodorant stick.

Performance: I did not feel as if I had to reapply throughout the day to stay fresh. NOTE: I did not do any strenuous exercise while testing this product. However, the friend I recommended it to said she loved it for her light days, but on her gym days, she had to wear her normal deodorant. I will definitely encourage you to test it out to see if it can hold up to your lifestyle.”

I had to abandon the deodorant because it just didn’t fit in with my on-the-go lifestyle. I still wanted a product that allowed me to swipe and go but was also gentle to my pores. Wetting a crystal and practically swiping under each arm about 100 times just wasn’t feasible. I have tried other brands such as Tom’s that also didn’t work for me.  I have since switched to another aluminum-free deodorant, but have found while my lymph nodes are no longer irritated, I have to reapply at least once during the day and before bed.

With that being said, I am on still on the hunt for a natural deodorant that my underarms love.  I will report back when I find “The One!”
